COMMUNITY UMPIRING
Any person - young or old, current or former player - who would like to begin umpiring for their club at any level we are hosting our Community Courses at the Ballpark (Thornlie) from 9am to 1pm:
- Saturday 2nd September
- Sunday 10th September
- Saturday 16th September
- Sunday 17th September
What to wear: Comfortable clothing that you can umpire and move in similar to what you would wear to club training....
What to bring: Catching gear if he has it or we have some protective equipment for him to borrow.

Our Community Course is the best for new umpires. Participants only need to attend ONE of the dates (but are welcome to attend more if they want to spend more time practicing with us). Once one session is attended participants will be invited to complete an online "exam" that they can do at their leisure and take as many attempts as needed.
If you have completed this course, umpired a bit during the season, and would like to learn more - then we recommend you attend any one of the sessions as we can help you out further.
