Intermediate League is for players who are aged 11 - 13 by the 31st August 2026.

Intermediate League is a transition for Little League players to Junior League games of baseball with the following differences:

• The game is played on a 70ft diamond (not 90ft like seniors)
• Pitching distance is 50ft (not 60ft like seniors)
• Runners can lead off bases and may attempt to steal at any time
• An on-deck batter is permitted 
• There are restrictions on the number of pitches a Pitcher can throw in any one game and is age dependent.

GAMES & TRAINING

Games
All LL divisions are played on a Saturday morning at 12.30pm. PDS play in a league with Rockingham and Secret Harbour.

Games will either be at our new grounds at Lakelands District Open Space, Hourglass Reserve in Rockingham or Lark Hill in Secret Harbour.

Wednesday from 4.30pm at Lakelands

CHARTER - COASTAL BAY SHARKS

• Consists of up to 12-14 of the top players from The Intermediate League Teams from within PDS, Secret Harbour Pirates and Rockingham Rams
• This team will compete at The Intermediate League State Championships over the Easter Long Weekend. This is held in conjunction with The Little League State Championships, usually held at Mateljan Park, Wanneroo. Although location is yet to be confirmed.
• Possibility in travelling to National Championships in NSW and International Championships at Williamsport, America.
• There is an added cost to participate in this.

FEES
Fees for the 2025-2026 season are $250 and can be paid by direct deposit, cash or eftpos.

Your fees cover:

• Affiliation to Baseball WA and Baseball Australia
• Insurance
• Umpire Fee's to WA Umpire Association
• Uniform shirt which is provided by the club
• Council ground/ building hire/ fees to the City of Mandurah
• Club and ground equipment & Maintenance

Fee Assistance
PDS is a KidSport approved club, enabling eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance each calendar year towards club fees. Please note: 
A deposit of 50% is required at time of registration.  Full fees must be paid by the first scheduled game of the season. Any player that has outstanding fees will not permitted to take the diamond until all outstanding amounts are paid in full or a payment plan has been arranged with the Treasurer.
